The journey began when my 20-year-old son looked at me and quietly said he had nothing to look forward to. It was a moment that brought everything to a halt, a stark realization that while our lives had been moving forward, we had failed to notice the emotional weight and impact it was having on him. As a parent, hearing something so heavy was overwhelming, and in my search for understanding and healing, I did the only thing I knew how to do I reached out to others.

From that moment, Sips & Stories was born as a Coffee with Sandy production dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space for people to share their stories of struggle, growth, and impact. What began as a response to my own need for connection and clarity evolved into a meaningful platform for community and conversation, giving voice to those who, like my son, might feel unseen or unheard.
