Who We Are

Centro de Información is a place where our Latino community has felt safe, understood, and supported for more than 50 years. We are a not-for-profit social services' agency that provides bilingual advocacy at our locations in Elgin, Carpentersville, and Hanover Park for more than 15,000 immigrants every year. Centro serves mostly low-income, Hispanic immigrants residing in the greater Fox Valley area, but we welcome clients of any nationalityfrom surrounding counties and states.
