Moultrie County Illinois PAWs is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the lives of companion animals in Moultrie County Illinois.
We raise funds for companion animals that end up at Moultrie County Animal Control, as well as owned pets and strays, in need of discretionary care and treatment in Moultrie County, Illinois. We also promote and assist with spay and neuter for cats and dogs throughout the county with The Ellen Bernius Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program. Donations are also used to fund improvements to the animal Control facility in order to make the lives of the cats and dogs as comfortable as possible during their stay.
PAWs facilitates adoptions, as well as transfers to other animal welfare agencies such as breed specific rescues, for the pets housed at Moultrie County Animal Control in Sullivan Illinois.
We also assist in identifying and returning stray pets to their owners.
