As a maritime recruiter, I accept job orders from companies for seagoing positions on vessels and shore side positions.  After receiving a job order, I search my resume database for the mariner who has the correct credentials and meets all the qualifications requested by the hiring company. The hiring company pays the placement fee.
I read & review resumes, advise on resume content and length.   Also, I help mariners where to locate open job listed on the internet and encourage mariners to help themselves.
I answer my business phone, listen to voice messages, return phone calls as necessary.
