Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity

Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity, based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is dedicated to putting God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our vision is a world where EVERYONE has a decent place to live.

Since 1989, we have been serving the Grand Forks, ND, and East Grand Forks, MN communities. Our mission is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live. What started as a grassroots effort in 1976 has now grown into a leading global nonprofit organization working in over 70 countries.

Locally, we have built more than 30 homes in the past 35 years for low-income families in the Red River Valley region. We offer programs such as Habitat Helpers Repair and Homeownership Programs for individuals and families who are residents of Polk or Grand Forks counties and are in need of assistance.

We believe that through financial support, volunteering, or advocating for affordable housing, everyone can play a part in helping families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower.

At Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity, our goal is to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. We believe that through providing shelter, we empower individuals and families to create better futures for themselves.

Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need of decent housing. Together with your support and involvement, we can continue to build homes and provide hope for those who need it most.
