Camp Boggy Creek

Camp Boggy Creek, located in Eustis, Florida, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and fun camping experience for children with serious illnesses. Founded in 1996 by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, along with General H. Norman Schwarzkopf and other caring individuals, Camp Boggy Creek has been serving children from all over the United States and around the world.

At Camp Boggy Creek, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joys of childhood, regardless of their medical condition. Our camp programs are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each camper, offering a wide range of activities that promote fun, friendship, and personal growth. From swimming and horseback riding to arts and crafts and adventure challenges, our campers have the chance to build confidence, make lasting memories, and form meaningful connections with others who understand their journey.

Our dedicated team of medical professionals ensures that each camper receives the specialized care they need while at camp. With a fully equipped medical center on-site and round-the-clock nursing staff, parents can rest assured that their child's health and well-being are our top priorities.

In addition to our summer camp sessions, Camp Boggy Creek offers year-round programming for families as well as special events for siblings of campers. We also provide outreach programs for hospitals and communities to extend our mission beyond the campgrounds.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors and volunteers to continue making a difference in the lives of children facing serious illnesses. Through their support, we can offer our programs free of charge to all campers.

Camp Boggy Creek is committed to creating a world where every child can experience joy despite their medical challenges. We invite you to join us in making this vision a reality.
