Trison Solutions LLC, based in Hibbing, Minnesota, has a rich history that dates back to 1989. It all began when Steve Johnson discovered an opportunity with an agriculture company in Fargo, North Dakota that was seeking a controller design. Despite his employer's decision not to pursue the request, Steve took matters into his own hands and enlisted the help of colleagues Jim LaBorde and Gary Brooks to design and manufacture the controller in the evenings and weekends in Johnson's basement.

Fast-forward to 2007, when their employer restructured, leading the trio to venture into entrepreneurship. This pivotal moment marked the birth of Trison Electronics, which later evolved into Trison Solutions LLC. Operating out of its facility in Hibbing, MN, Trison became known for its primary focus on supporting customers who require manufacturing and support of "legacy" products—those nearing the end of their life in production or deemed unprofitable for large electronics companies due to lower production volumes.

With over 100 years of combined experience in engineering and manufacturing, Trison stands out as a leader in the industry. The company offers design, material management, assembly, and testing of either refurbished legacy or current products.
