Crescendo Orchestra

Crescendo Youth Orchestra, established in 2005, is a distinguished community-based organization located in Hibbing, Minnesota. Our mission is to provide youth and community orchestras, offering young musicians a platform to learn and perform string instruments. We cater to individuals aged 8 to 120, welcoming all skill levels to participate in our programs.

We offer three progressive levels of instruction—Prelude for beginners, Intermezzo for intermediate players, and Encore for advanced musicians—ensuring a structured and supportive learning environment. In collaboration with Hibbing Community Education, we provide affordable lessons and weekly group rehearsals, with a commitment to inclusivity through scholarship opportunities. Our annual String Camp offers a week-long immersive experience for students aged 7 to 17, fostering musical growth and camaraderie. At Crescendo Youth Orchestra, we are dedicated to enriching the cultural fabric of our community by nurturing the musical talents of our participants.
