Pasadena Humane Society
Pasadena Humane Society is more than just an animal shelter—we are a trusted, community-supported animal resource center dedicated to compassion, care, and advocacy for all animals. Since our founding in 1903, we have remained committed to providing lifesaving programs and services for animals and the people who love them across the Greater Los Angeles Area. Our Pasadena campus is a haven where thousands of vulnerable animals receive shelter, medical attention, and the opportunity to find loving forever homes each year.
Pasadena Humane offers a wide range of services designed to support pet owners and keep pets with their families. These include free and low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinics, a pet food pantry for those in need, and a dedicated animal support call center. In addition to adoptions and fostering, we also provide wildlife rehabilitation, training classes, and surrender prevention programs. In 2023 alone, we helped more than 47,000 animals, reflecting our unwavering mission to serve both animals and the community with compassion and care.
