World Folkfest, Inc is a non-profit organization based in Provo, Utah that is dedicated to promoting and preserving traditional folk dance and music from around the world. Our mission is to celebrate cultural diversity and foster understanding and appreciation of different traditions through the universal language of music and dance.

The World Folkfest was founded in 1987 with the goal of creating a platform for international folk dance groups to showcase their unique heritage and artistic talents. Over the years, the festival has grown into a highly anticipated annual event that attracts participants and audiences from all corners of the globe.

At World Folkfest, we believe in the power of cultural exchange as a means to promote peace and unity among nations. Through our performances, workshops, and educational outreach programs, we strive to create opportunities for people of all ages to connect with diverse cultures and gain a deeper understanding of the rich tapestry of human expression.

In addition to our annual festival events held in Provo each summer, World Folkfest also organizes community outreach programs throughout the year. These initiatives include school assemblies, cultural workshops at local libraries or community centers,and collaborations with other arts organizations to further promote cross-cultural understanding.
