Eric Archuleta, LAT, ATC is a nationally certified athletic trainer with over 8 years of experience in the field. He obtained his BS degree in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from the University of New Mexico in 2014. As an athletic trainer and injury prevention specialist at the Athletic Training Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Eric specializes in recognizing, preventing, and treating various musculoskeletal injuries and medical conditions.
At the Athletic Training Center, Eric collaborates with a team of specialists including nurses, paramedics, eastern-based and holistic practitioners, as well as M.D.s, D.O.s, and CNPs to develop comprehensive therapeutic plans tailored to each individual's specific needs. In addition to addressing physical injuries, Eric also focuses on identifying potential deficiencies within the body that may impact overall health. This includes assessing dietary habits and ordering blood work to identify any essential vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Furthermore, he provides guidance on stress and anxiety management to promote overall well-being.
In addition to his work at the Athletic Training Center, Eric is actively involved in sports coverage for local high schools such as APS and Rio Rancho. He also provides support for various club sports in Albuquerque and other sporting venues to ensure athlete safety. His expertise extends to working with professional athletes including local UFC fighters.
Eric's approach involves managing, treating, and rehabilitating pain or dysfunction using a variety of modalities. By focusing on both external physical health as well as internal well-being encompassing mind, body, and spirit; Eric ensures a holistic approach to athletic training and injury prevention.
