At L2 Ranch, ranching is more than a livelihood it’s a legacy. For six generations, our family has dedicated itself to responsible stewardship of the land, ethical animal care, and time-honored ranching traditions. Rooted in Oakley, Utah, at the base of the Uinta Mountains, our ranching heritage dates back nearly a century, when the L2 brand was first government-appointed to our family’s cattle operation.
Today, our cattle continue to graze the same lands as generations before them, wintering near the Weber River and summering in the national forest of Weber Canyon under the same grazing permit secured by our ancestors. This continuity reflects our deep commitment to sustainable ranching and preserving the integrity of our operation.
In 2020, we evolved from a traditional cow/calf operation to a direct-to-consumer model, allowing us to share the same high-quality beef that has nourished our family for generations. This shift became even more significant as we witnessed the vulnerabilities in the modern food system. By providing locally raised, premium beef, we remain dedicated to strengthening our community’s connection to wholesome, responsibly sourced food.
