At Next Stepp Animal Rescue, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of abandoned and vulnerable animals in Pine Mountain, Georgia, and beyond. Our mission is to support animal welfare by providing essential funding and supplies for the care of stray and shelter animals, primarily assisting Harris County Animal Control. Through advocacy, education, and direct action, we work to implement policies that protect animals and promote responsible pet ownership. Our commitment extends to supporting spay/neuter initiatives, ensuring that fewer animals face homelessness and neglect.

We believe that every animal deserves love, care, and a second chance at a happy life. That’s why we operate entirely through the passion and dedication of volunteers—without paid staff or consultants—so that every dollar raised goes directly to the animals in need. Our foster and adoption network helps place cats and dogs in loving homes, giving them the fresh start they deserve.
