Lapan College and Career Club, Inc.

Since 2004, Lapan College and Career Club (LC3) has been a cornerstone of support for students and families in the Wakefield Community of South Tucson. For over two decades, LC3 has remained dedicated to empowering local youth through a comprehensive suite of services, including after-school programs, mentorship, academic support, and college and career readiness initiatives. Every day, hundreds of students walk through the doors of the LC3 Clubhouse to access a safe, inspiring environment where they can grow academically, personally, and socially, while earning scholarships toward their future educational goals, whether that be a four-year university or a career in the trades. Our mission is to ensure that education is both accessible and attainable for all students in our community, encouraging them to pursue their highest potential.

In May 2024, LC3 proudly transitioned into an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, solidifying its long-term commitment to the community. Guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and a passionate staff, LC3 continues to build on its legacy of impact. This new chapter allows for even greater flexibility, innovation, and reach as we expand our programs and services to meet the evolving needs of the students we serve. As we look ahead, LC3 is seeking visionary leadership to help shape the next generation of student success in South Tucson.
