Daystar Productions
Daystar Productions was founded by Lawrence, a seasoned professional with a diverse and extensive background in media and production. As the son of an Air Force career pilot, Lawrence’s life has been shaped by travel and experience in numerous locations, contributing to his broad perspective. His career has spanned several fields, including military service, where he served as a Military Intelligence Agent during the Vietnam War.
With a strong academic foundation, Lawrence earned a BA degree in Art from Brigham Young University and further honed his craft in filmmaking at California State University. His professional journey includes working as a cameraman for CBS Network News, as well as owning and operating a successful motion picture production company. Throughout his career, he has produced award-winning TV spots and documentaries, showcasing his skill and dedication to the craft.
Lawrence’s filmmaking accomplishments include writing, producing, and directing the full-length feature film Jump Cut, as well as an "old time" radio program, Life Under The Horseshoe. Despite his professional success, Lawrence considers his greatest achievements to be personal: maintaining a loving marriage of 53 years, raising five incredible children, and enjoying the joy of seventeen wonderful grandchildren.
At Daystar Productions, we are driven by Lawrence’s passion for storytelling and his commitment to excellence in every project we undertake.
