Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County

Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County is a nonprofit organization committed to creating safe, affordable housing for families in need across the region. Since its founding in 2008, the organization has built and sold eight homes, helping ten families become homeowners. Beyond new construction, it's “A Brush with Kindness” program provides vital home repairs to help residents maintain safe and livable housing.

The organization also operates the Habitat ReStore on Highway 491, where proceeds from sales of quality building materials, furniture, appliances, and vintage items support local housing efforts. Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County encourages community involvement through volunteer opportunities, board service, and donations, empowering residents to take part in building a better future, one home at a time.
