Our approach is both historical and forward-looking. We examine where a community has been, assess where it stands, and collaboratively envision where it could go. In Oregon, for example, the timber industry remains a vital economic and environmental force. The state's leadership in softwood timber production showcases the success of sustainable practices balancing ecosystem stewardship with the creation of over 60,000 jobs across diverse sectors.
