Vernal Innovation Hub

The Vernal Innovation Hub is a co-working incubator based in Vernal, Utah, designed to support entrepreneurs, small businesses, and tech startups. Offering flexible office space, modern amenities, and a collaborative environment, the Hub fosters innovation and creativity while helping drive economic growth in the region.

Established in 2020 during a time of significant economic hardship, the Hub was born out of a collective effort by over 20 community leaders determined to diversify Uintah County’s energy-dependent economy. With the highest unemployment rate in Utah at the time, the community prioritized the development of online workforce opportunities, small business support, and technology-based industries.

Through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and local contributions, the Hub underwent a major transformation into a state-of-the-art facility. Its development showcases the power of public-private partnerships and a shared vision to create a resilient, innovation-driven future for the Basin.
