Community Planning and Advocacy Council (CPAC)

The Community Planning & Advocacy Council (C.P.A.C.) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on advancing social, racial, and economic justice throughout Greater Camden County. Since its establishment in 1938, C.P.A.C. has served as the county’s Human Services Advisory Council, collaborating with over 300 health, social service, and community organizations to strengthen families, support individual success, and build compassionate, thriving communities. Guided by the Camden County Covenant for Children, Youth, and Families, the organization works strategically to address systemic barriers and improve quality of life through targeted planning, community engagement, and evidence-based practices.

C.P.A.C. leads and supports a wide range of programs and initiatives designed to meet the needs of diverse populations. These include the Human Services Advisory Council, the Homeless Network Planning Committee, and the Children’s Inter-Agency Coordinating Council, among others. It also manages critical programs like the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the Senior Companion Program across several counties in South Jersey. As the regional administrator for the Southern New Jersey Continuum of Care, C.P.A.C. coordinates comprehensive homeless prevention strategies, reinforcing its commitment to equity and inclusion. Through intentional collaboration, advocacy, and continuous improvement, C.P.A.C. remains a cornerstone in building equitable communities where all individuals and families can thrive.
