Founded in 1938, Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative (PCEC) is a member-owned utility dedicated to delivering reliable, affordable electricity to more than 26,500 active services across 3,100 miles of energized lines. Serving the vibrant and growing communities within Buchanan, Caldwell, Clay, Clinton, DeKalb, Platte, and Ray Counties, PCEC plays a vital role in powering the Northland region of metropolitan Kansas City.
