Live Oak Public Libraries is a trusted and dynamic library system serving Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties in southeast Georgia through 16 branch locations. Dedicated to enriching lives and building stronger communities, the Library offers equitable access to information, technology, and lifelong learning resources for patrons of all ages.

In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, Live Oak Public Libraries welcomed over 635,000 visitors, circulated more than one million items, responded to over 260,000 inquiries, supported more than 853,000 computer sessions, and provided engaging programs to over 90,000 attendees. These figures reflect the Library’s vital role in education, digital access, and community engagement across the region.
