Savannah Jazz, originally founded as the Coastal Jazz Association in 1981, is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and promoting the legacy of jazz in Savannah, Georgia. What began as a grassroots initiative to support local jazz musicians has evolved into a respected cultural organization recognized for its world-class performances, dedication to jazz education, and celebration of influential figures in the jazz community.

Among its cornerstone initiatives are the annual Savannah Jazz Festival, a free multi-day event that attracts international artists and audiences, the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame, which honors exceptional contributors to the genre, and the Savannah Jazz Orchestra, a distinguished ensemble of local talent.
