Commissioner Dianne Williams-Cox is a dedicated public servant and lifelong advocate for community empowerment, education, and equity. A proud Quincy native and Florida A&M University alumna, she has spent decades championing the needs of underserved residents in Tallahassee. With a background in technology, government service, and leadership across civic organizations, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as Mayor Pro Tem.
Dianne is the founder of the Southside United Citizens Action Alliance and owner of DWC Management Consulting Services. She has received numerous accolades for her advocacy and community work, including “Community Activist of the Year.” A strong voice for women's rights, education reform, and small business development, Dianne remains committed to creating a more inclusive and thriving Tallahassee for all.
