First United Methodist Church of Lansing, located at 18420 Burnham Avenue, has been a cornerstone of faith and community since 1894. From its humble beginnings with just ten charter members, the church has grown and evolved, relocating in 1953 to its current home and expanding over the years to include an education wing and the Joseph D. Keller Accessibility Annex. These additions ensure that all worshippers, including those with physical challenges, feel welcome and included, with features such as an elevator, a lift, and accessible facilities.
Rooted in the message of Jesus Christ, our church has remained dedicated to serving both the local community and the world for over a century. Through worship, service, and outreach, we strive to share God’s love and grace with all. We invite you to join us as we continue building on a rich legacy of faith, fellowship, and compassionate service.
