PawPrint Ministries is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Decatur, Illinois, committed to serving the community through the comfort and companionship of trained canine teams. Founded in 2014 by Jenn and Mike Dahn, the organization was inspired by their firsthand experience with a comfort dog team during a disaster relief effort. Motivated by the profound impact of that encounter, the Dahns established PawPrint Ministries to bring emotional support and encouragement to individuals facing difficult circumstances.

Today, the organization has grown to include more than 45 trained comfort dog teams who serve in a wide variety of settings, including schools, senior care facilities, libraries, and disaster response situations. With each visit, the teams offer compassion, joy, and a sense of calm, serving as living instruments of God’s love and providing meaningful connections throughout the community.
