UND College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines

The University of North Dakota College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines is dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities through excellence in education, research, and service. Situated in Grand Forks, North Dakota, our College serves as a beacon of innovation and inclusivity, offering students a culturally enriched and supportive environment to pursue their professional aspirations in nursing and nutrition. Our mission focuses on preparing leaders equipped with the critical thinking and intellectual inquiry skills necessary to address the complex healthcare challenges of our region and beyond. By integrating research, teaching, practice, and service, we aim to create transformative experiences that nurture both academic and professional growth.

We offer a range of undergraduate and graduate programs designed to meet diverse career goals, including RN-BSN and RN-MS distance-delivered degrees, as well as undergraduate programs in dietetics and community nutrition. Graduate students may choose from six specialized master’s pathways, such as psychiatric/mental health, family nurse practitioner, and nurse anesthesia, among others, each emphasizing evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge. Our PhD program prepares nurse scientists and educators to contribute to advancing the field of nursing through research and leadership. At UND’s College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines, we are proud to empower the next generation of healthcare professionals committed to making a lasting impact.
