OPERA THEATER’S SEASON OPENING CONCERT
 
Opera Theater of Connecticut is pleased and excited to be starting our 40th year of producing professional opera on the Connecticut Shoreline for music-lovers from across the state and the country. It is amazing to reach this milestone as the oldest opera company in Connecticut and a destination Performing Arts company.
To start our Ruby Anniversary Season, join us on Sunday, May 4, 2025, when we present Melodies of Spring, a fundraising concert where we will sing the praises of the seasons, love, and glorious music.
The concert begins at 4:00 PM at the beautiful Lutheran Church of Madison, 9 Britton Lane, in Madison, CT.
Eric Trudel will accompany the ensemble of professional singers performing a variety of opera, operetta, and musical theater pieces.
OTC Artistic Director Alan Mann will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Chief Raconteur, punctuating the concert with witty and informative commentary. Projected slides will provide translations of the pieces as needed.
Enjoy wine, cheese, and other delights at a post-performance reception.
General admission tickets are $40 and may be ordered by visiting our website operatheaterofct.org or calling the office at 860-669-8999.
