Because Teachers Matter: RBI Barber Hosts “Polk County Teacher Appreciation Day” as a Back to School Event Haines City, FL — 208 S. Dixie Dr., Haines City, FL 33844 • Appointments: (863) 421-2020 (appointments available immediately until spots are full) • Event Date: Wednesday, August 7th •  Must present valid Polk County school ID •  Male teachers only (due to barbershop services).

In recognition of the dedication and impact of Polk County teachers, RBI Barber in Haines City will host a special Teacher Appreciation Day on Thursday, August 7th. This event is designed to uplift and support educators as they prepare for the new school year, offering not just free services but a gesture of gratitude for the vital work they do. Participating teachers will receive a complimentary haircut, classroom supplies, an appreciation gift, and light refreshments — all by appointment to ensure a relaxing, stress-free experience. Additionally each participating teacher will receive a voucher for a free student haircut to pass along to a child in need, or at their discretion. During their visit, teachers will also have the opportunity to participate in other activities like the “Classroom Wish Wall” where they can write an item that they wish they had for their classroom. This may allow continued support from customers or community members who visit, by possibly sponsoring or donating the items. Teachers play such an essential role in shaping our children’s futures and sometimes receive little recognition in return, especially at the start of the school year. This event is a way for us to say, ‘We see you, and we appreciate you. Our goal is for educators to start their year feeling valued, refreshed, and supported by their community. 

RBI Barber has proudly served the Haines City community for over 18 years, known not only for quality service, and community involvement, but also for its long history of providing services to professional MLB players. This event is part of the shop’s ongoing commitment to giving back to those who give so much to others — in this case, our educators. We invite you to help us make a difference.
