SPARK! is cultural programming that fosters connection & encourages lifelong learning. Programs feature interactive exhibit experiences, and all programs begin with a coffee social and snacks.

Tuesday, September 9 - For this month’s SPARK! program, we will page through local yearbooks while reminiscing about our favorite school memories. We'll capture these moments by taking some "Yearbook" photos with a Polaroid camera.

Tuesday, October 14 - Álfablót. An ancient Nordic celebration in which one honors their ancestors. For this month's SPARK! program, we'll explore the history of this celebration and similar traditions from around the world, decorate pumpkins, and drink apple cider.

Tuesday, November 11 - Honoring Our Military. This month’s SPARK! program will explore periods of war in both America and Denmark. MoDA's Registrar, David Anderson, will showcase items from our collection related to military service as we discuss their historical significance.

Tuesday, December 9 - Holiday Hygge. For this month's program, we will paint ornaments and sip hot cocoa.
