The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Meeting and Business Showcase Expo informs our esteemed members about the accomplishments and goals the Executive Director and Board of Directors have agreed upon to ensure success through adherence to the Chamber’s strategic plan, core mission, and vision. This event is designed to celebrate our vibrant business community and foster meaningful connections.

Annual Business Meeting: We'll hold a brief business meeting as required by the Chamber's Bylaws to review our accomplishments and plans for the year.

Keynote Presentation: We are excited to announce our Keynote Speaker for the event, Rick Weinheimer, with Every Day Excellence, LLC.  

In this inspiring keynote, “Pursuing Excellence Daily by Uniting Your Team", discover how consistent, collaborative leadership can turn everyday efforts into extraordinary results.  Learn practical strategies to foster unity, boost morale, and align your team with a shared vision, creating a culture where excellence isn't just a goal, but a daily standard.

For thirty-nine years Rick taught English and coached cross country and track, retiring in June 2017 from Columbus North High School (IN) where he had been coaching, teaching, and serving as English department chair.

Rick is a nationally recognized coach of multiple state championship teams. As a 10-time Indiana Coach of the Year and a 4-time nominee for National Coach of the Year, he was inducted into the Indiana Track and Cross Country Hall of Fame in 2004. For his achievements as an educator, he was inducted into the BCSC Education Hall of Fame in 2014. Rick and his wife Amy, a retired special education teacher, have five children and three grandchildren.

Rick published his first book called Move Your Chair, a Guide to Every Day Excellence in 2015, his second Excellence 366, in 2021, and is currently continuing to make a difference in people’s professional and personal lives. Through his company “Every Day Excellence” he has delivered keynote presentations, led workshops, and coached individuals in 12 states. He is certified in Myers-Briggs training, DISC personality styles, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, and Frame of Mind coaching.
