PROJECT 150 AND EoS Fitness Team Up to Fuel Student SuccessLAS VEGAS, April 9, 2025 — In a powerful demonstration of community support, Project 150, a local nonprofit dedicated to assisting homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students, proudly announces its 4th consecutive year of partnership with EoS Fitness to raise funds for its scholarship program. This initiative, set to launch on April 1st and continue through June 2nd, aims to transform the lives of deserving local youths by providing them with the opportunity to pursue higher education.Throughout the duration of the campaign, EoS Fitness members and team members across all 16 Nevada gym locations will be encouraged to elevate their efforts, going above and beyond in their workouts to make a tangible difference. As a token of appreciation, gym guests and team members who contribute to Project 150's cause will have a symbolic paper graduation cap and tassel displayed at the front desk of the gym. EoS Fitness is focused on raising up to $80,000 this year, including a $30,000 company match to further equip Nevada students with resources to achieve their higher education goals. Donations can be made at one of its 16 locations throughout Las Vegas, by texting EOS to 76278. This generous commitment reflects EoS’ unwavering dedication to fostering positive change within the community and providing vital support to local youth. ABOUT PROJECT 150'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: Project 150's scholarship program offers financial assistance to high school seniors and current college students seeking to pursue higher education at any of Nevada's institutions. The application process opens in October and closes in April, with awards announced in early June. In 2024 alone, Project 150 awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to 96 deserving Southern Nevada students, with each recipient receiving up to $4,000. Notably, 71 of these recipients were first-generation college students, and 20 are set to earn their undergraduate degrees this fall. Kelli Kristo, Executive Director of Project 150, expressed the organization's commitment to providing students with the resources necessary to achieve their academic goals, stating, “We are deeply committed to empowering students by providing them with the financial resources and support needed to achieve their academic dreams. These scholarships open doors for students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue higher education, and it’s incredible to witness the impact of our community’s generosity over the past 14 years.” “Our long-standing partnership with Project 150 has allowed us to make a real difference for students striving for higher education,” said Eric McCauley, senior regional vice president of sales, EoS Fitness. “As our footprint in Nevada continues to grow, so does our commitment to supporting our community. Our members and team members are more dedicated than ever to helping these students succeed.” MEDIA AVAILABILITY: In-studio or on-location interviews with Kelli Kristo, Eric McCauley and a recent recipient of a Project 150 scholarship can be facilitated upon request. The two heard about 150 homeless high school students at Rancho High School in Las Vegas who were in need of support over the Christmas break. Since that time, Project 150 has expanded and now serves more than 6,800 registered and non-registered homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students in more than 75 schools in Nevada. Project 150 provides these students with free food, clothing, school supplies, sports equipment, shoes, college scholarships, workforce readiness, and other needs so they can focus on school, graduate and be successful in life.
