Now accepting nominations for the 2025/26 Veterans Wall

Nominations are underway! Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) and the Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona
(LFSAZ) are recognizing former or current residents of Cochise County who have served the country and our county.
Nominations for the 2025/26 Veterans Wall are being accepted through July 1st, 2025. Nominations may be submitted
posthumously.

Each year since 2015, 12 veterans have been selected for their military service and lasting impact on our community.
CVMC and LFSAZ have a selection committee who review all nominees and choose the veterans who have served our
country and have demonstrated their commitment to Cochise County through volunteering and community service. The
Veterans Wall and ceremony, held in November, honor vets for helping make Cochise County what it is today, with
contributions ranging from campaigning for arts education in schools to creating ways to make health care more
accessible.

Jon Kosmider, Board of Trustees member and Army Veteran, “Cochise County is fortunate to have a robust population of
military veterans for whom service to others is a way of life. Our veterans' selfless service to their community is one of
the things that make Cochise County such a special place to live. CVMC and the Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona
are honored to recognize their dedicated service to their country and community."

Nomination forms can be downloaded on the CVMC website. Mailed nominations can be sent to the Legacy Foundation,
302-01 El Camino Real, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 or delivered to the Foundation. You can also submit electronically by
sending the completed nomination to info@lfsaz.org.

Nominations must be dated or postmarked no later than July 1st, 2025. The 2025/26 Veterans Wall Ceremony is open to
the public and will take place at Canyon Vista Medical Center in the main hospital Canyon Café Dining Room. The
previous year's Veterans Wall recipients, as well as the new class of nominees, will all be honored.
