From permitting guidance and demographic reports to property listings and success stories, the website demonstrates DeLand's commitment to smart, sustainable growth. The website was made possible in part through a $20,000 economic development grant awarded by the Duke Energy Foundation to support the state's vibrant economy. “This website reinforces something we've known for a long time — DeLand is open for business,” said Mayor Chris Cloudman. “Whether you're looking to start a small business, expand your operations, or relocate your company, DeLand is ready to help prospective businesses succeed.” The site features an interactive map of available sites located near the DeLand Municipal Airport and in the Northwest Industrial Park and business spotlight stories from local entrepreneurs and business leaders.
